Employer Consultation Services

Your Employee Assistance Program should also be an Employer Assistance Program. Managers, supervisors, human resource staff and corporate health managers all face unique challenges in today's workplace. Managing performance problems, Managing change, Improving employee wellness, Responding to trauma, Compliance issues, Mediating employee and work group conflict are all daily concerns and issues in many work places.

That's where Crites & Associates can help. Our EAP consultants can help you with a wide array of employer issues, providing up-to-date information, consultation and assistance on the issues important to you. Your assigned EAP consultant, working in tandem with our C&A team can assist your organization with:

Management Referrals:

C&A consultants are available to assist your managers and supervisors in addressing employee performance problems and personal difficulties that carry over into the work place. Managers and supervisors can receive this service through the 24-hour telephone access number.

When managers and supervisors contact the EAP, Crites & Associates' consultants provide a comprehensive assessment of the employee problem the manager is trying to remedy. C&A consultants will collaborate with the manager in developing a problem solving plan for intervention and follow-up. Frequently this type of management consultation occurs over the phone, however, when necessary, an in-person consultation on site will be arranged.

Policy Development:

C&A consultants have years of experience in assisting client companies with their policy development needs in the following areas: Drug Free Workplace Compliance, Drug Testing, Workplace Violence Prevention, ADA and Psychiatric Disabilities, Sexual Harassment Prevention and Planning for Downsizing & Reengineering. Your EAP consultant can assist you in evaluating and modifying your current policies to make sure your organization is not only meeting compliance standards, but is also the benchmark for others to follow.

Health & Wellness Consultation:

C&A consultants also offer consultation on the development of company Health & Wellness initiatives. By providing information on utilization and presenting problem trends the EAP can be a valuable tool in making sure your H&W programs are meeting your employees special needs. In addition, C&A Consultants have many years experience partnering with health promotion programs in providing timely service to on site medical and health/safety staff wishing to make referrals to the program.

Managing Organizational Change:

Managing organizational change requires more than reengineering and restructuring systems and processes. It requires managing the human responses that accompany any organizational change. When your organization is in transition you need managers and employees collaborating together and continuing to work productively to manage day to day business and meet your organizational goals.
