Surviving
through Organizational Change:
Layoffs,
acquisitions, mergers and partnerships are the organizational
survival strategies of the 9O's. This session is designed to
assist Human Resources personnel and supervisors in understanding the psychology of the change process, how to manage
organizational change effectively, how to deliver layoff notices
constructively, and how to move survivors back into a productive
direction. Time Investment: Up to 4 Hours
Surviving
and Thriving in Turbulent Times:
Change
is essential to business success, and so are your people. This employee session focuses on helping
your survivors manage their reactions (anger, depression,
fear, and confusion) to corporate change. Time Investment: Up to 3 Hours
We're
All In This Together: Conflict Resolution Strategies in
a Changing Workplace:
As
organizations struggle to maintain productivity and profitability,
competing expectations can negatively impact achieving your
company's goals. A conflict
resolution process and overview of skill development exercises for employees
are offered to help the communication process. For managers
and supervisors, an additional module includes identification
of underlying causes of conflict, and provides negotiation and mediation skills to resolve

Understanding
Sexual Harassment:
The
problem of sexual harassment is gathering increased attention
with the latest Supreme Court rulings. For the common person,
the whole subject is confusing. The Fifth District Court of Appeals
recently found that employers who respond to sexual harassment claims with a
proactive
and expeditious manner are not automatically
liable. The key is having a comprehensive policy, offering education
and training for employees and managers, and executing investigations
in a confidential and timely manner. Training is available to

Managing
Negativity in the Workplace:
The
insidious nature of workplace negativity can undermine the corporate
milieu and block creativity and problem solving. Employers are
reporting with increasing frequency that negativity is having
a dramatic impact on productivity and profitability. Manager
sessions focus primarily on providing tools to confront and change
negative behavior. Employee sessions focus on empowering participants

Many organizations are struggling
to maintain employee loyalty
and commitment in this time of uncertainty. One consequence of the
constantly changing work environment is that trust can be easily
lost, having a dramatic impact on productivity. This training
program is targeted at all organizational levels: defining the
ingredients of trust, individual and organizational systems that
contribute to mistrust, and strategies for regaining and maintaining
